Working together

In our class we have been talking about the ways we can make our classroom a successful learning environment.  One key idea we came up with was RESPECT.  We brainstormed different ways that all of us, including the teacher can show respect to each other.  Then we worked together with our friends to publish some of the ideas that we thought were the most important.

Welcome to Room 11.

Our class has been doing a lot of activities to settle into new levels and new routines. It takes time to get to know the other students in the class and to get familiar with the new routines. We are looking forward to an exciting year with lots of different activities and opportunities for everyone. Who knows we may even get some Summer weather!

One of our first activities was learning each other's names and making a class spider web to show that we could all work together as a team. It was a great success with everyone showing their co-operative skills.
